Chiquita is one of the most beautiful calicos we’ve ever met, but we might be a little biased. Her good looks might make you think she’s sweet as pie, but don’t let her fool you. This pretty lady is feisty. She’s not afraid to put you in your place using her teefs. That’s okay though, we know love hurts sometimes.   

In true senior fashion, Chiquita has a few aches and pains. She prefers us not to use the term arthritis, as it makes her feel old. She was also diagnosed with hyperthyroid and kidney disease, which is common in senior cats. Both her “aches and pains” and hyperthyroid require daily medications, and her kidney disease requires special food. She also gets frequent bloodwork to test her thyroid levels. Your sponsorship will be vital to keeping Chiquita fiery and young at heart.
