Cece came from an extreme hoarding situation in Texas where he and many other cats lived in filthy, horrific conditions. The elderly owners could not properly care for all the cats they had, and we were asked to help by a rescue group who was there assisting the owners. We agreed to take Cece and it took him many months to trust again. While he does come up and greet his foster mom and rub on her, there are times where he is shy and timid, especially when strangers come to the house.
Like a typical Ragdoll, Cece has the laid-back, easy-going personality. He gets along with other cats and dogs and has made several friends in his foster home that he likes to play with. However, he is not a fan of young kids, so an adult only home is best for him. And he hates carriers, so it really takes a lot of effort to get him into a carrier for a vet appointment.
Cece recently had a dental and they removed many of his teeth. It’s important to remove diseased teeth when they are affecting our senior’s health.
Cece has several health problems. He has high blood pressure which requires daily medication. He also has eye problems which require daily eye drops. Sponsoring Cece would help pay for his medications.
